Milnthorpe is a coastal settlement famed for the park of the same name, a regeneration project with a myriad of walking tracks. Milnthorpe is a coastal settlement situated between Kahurangi National Park and the beautiful sandy beach of Milnthorpe. Shops, postal services, and petrol are located at Collingwood approximately 7km west and more services at Takaka 19km east.
